Get the Look: Taylor Swift's Teal Cat Eye

Simple, pretty, and intriguing. The makeup Taylor Swift wore to a recent event had it all.  Yes, it is a cat eye, but this one is especially unique due to the summery hue of the teal liner used.  I loved the look so much I recreated it on myself the following day. Take a look at how easily you can achieve it.

For starters, prime eyelids with an eyeshadow primer.  Next, press a light matte shadow onto the center of  lids and on brow bones, then blend a soft brown into the creases with a fluffy brush.

Now for the fun part. (Somewhat) thinly, trace black liquid liner along the top lash line, ending the line flicked up and out. Take a (sparkly) teal eye pencil and line the lower lash line completely, connecting it to the black winged out liner. (I skipped my waterline since my eyes are quite sensitive.)

After adding a coat of my favorite mascara (of the week), a sweep of light pink blush, and a swipe of nude gloss I was on my way out the door for work.  Seriously though, this makeup combo is perf for any occasion this summer, day or night.  AND chances are you already have everything in your makeup collection to create this.
And that's all she wrote folks!  Enjoy and have a fabulous day :-*
